About The Enrichment Room

For dog owners who want more for their dog

If you’re here, you probably care deeply about your dog’s wellbeing.

You want them to be happy, fulfilled, and calm. But sometimes the usual options don’t work. Dog parks can feel chaotic. Walks don’t always burn enough energy. And some dogs simply need more than physical exercise.

That’s where The Enrichment Room comes in.

A better kind of dog space

The Enrichment Room is a private, appointment-only indoor play and enrichment space for dogs.

Instead of crowded environments and unpredictable interactions, your dog gets a safe space to use their natural instincts to explore, run, sniff, climb, and investigate.

Because dogs don’t just need physical exercise.
They need opportunities to use their brains too.

When dogs are able to engage both their body and mind, they often leave feeling calmer, more satisfied, and truly tired.

Especially helpful for dogs who need a calmer environment

While every dog can benefit from the Enrichment Room, this space is especially valuable for dogs who:

  • get overwhelmed at dog parks
  • feel unsure around unfamiliar dogs
  • have lots of energy but few safe outlets
  • thrive when they can explore and problem solve

It’s a place where dogs can simply be dogs.

Why this space exists

The idea for the Enrichment Room started with a simple wish: a safe place where I could take my own dog to run, explore, and have fun together without chaos or stress.

The more I talked about it, the more I realized how many other dog owners wanted the same thing.

So I decided to create it.

The Enrichment Room is built on one belief: when we give dogs better outlets for their energy and instincts, life gets better for both dogs and the people who love them.

Meet the team

My name is Amanda, and this is Ryuk (left) and Koa (right).
While Koa would love to attend every enrichment session, he's been told that's not allowed. But he gets to test every new piece of equipment and obstacle course setup, so I think he's happy.
I, Amanda, have been in the dog industry for about 9 years.
I worked at a doggy daycare in my early twenties. I started Wisconsin's first dog treat truck in 2021, owned a dog boutique storefront for 3 years (online for 8 years), am a certified canine nutritionist, and am now a certified canine enrichment technician.
I'm always learning, growing, and trying to give my own dogs the best life while sharing what I learn with others, but I'm not an expert.
